MCM Secures Agreement to Supply Moisture Analysers for World’s First Large-Scale Green Steel Plant
MCM has been selected to provide moisture analysis equipment for a new ASU project in Boden, northern Sweden. The ASU will be a “world first” for the supply of air gases to a large-scale green steel production process, which will reduce emissions of CO2 by up to 95% compared to traditional plants.
The journey to decarbonisation is supported by MCM’s MicroView Mini Hygrometer technology, which utilises rapid measurement capability and low consumption of sample gas to provide highly efficient moisture content analysis to ppbV levels. The unique MCM sensor technology provides benefits not just to these flagship green projects. For many years, our technology has been known to help reduce consumption of process gas and minimise the release of fugitive emissions.
From the latest green H2 electrolysis systems to the capture and purification of CO2, collaborations in the renewable nuclear sector, and optimisation of legacy natural gas dehydration and compression applications, MCM works around the globe to contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more efficient society.
